founded in 1977, wong's electronics co., ltd. (wec) was primarily set up to manufacture products for oem customers. wong's industrial (holdings) ltd. was established in 1979, with the incorporation of various businesses, and acted as the holding company of wec.<br><br>in 1983, following major expansion and reorganization, wong's international (holdings) ltd. was formed as the holding company of the group. it was listed in the hong kong stock exchange in the same year.<br><br>in 1986, we opened our first manufacturing facility for electronic product assembly in shajing, people's republic of china. to better serve our customers in and around the greater china region, wong's has also opened a new factory in suzhou in 2003.<br><br>as a subsidiary of wong's group, wapdon designs, develops and manufactures mobile handset, pda phone, bluetooth headset, cordless phone , dect phone etc..
